Mat ignored me and continued walking. I ran after him and grabbed him arm, "Mat!" i said. "Let go of me!" Mat shouted. "If you don't tell her i will." I said loosening my grip. Mat turned to me, "You dare and i wont talk to you ever again!" Mat shouted in my face.
“She has to know!” I say just as angrily, “You owe her that much!”
"I don't think i'll tell her." Mat sighed. "Mat, you can't lie for the rest of your life." I said. "I don't care, i don't want to leave my son." Mat said. "Mat, you need to tell her." Ben said. "No!" Mat shouted, "Its easy for you two you don't have children." Mat stormed off.
“Mat!” I called after him, “Come on! You’ve got to think about these things.”
"Have you told your girlfriend you're gay?" Ben asked. "No" Mat said. "You know you're going to have to tell her?" I said. "I can't." Mat replied, "I have a son." I looked at Mat, "Ah, what are you going to do then?" I asked
Mat shrugs sadly, “No idea.” he sighs.
Mat smiled at me, "You're a good mate, Laz." Mat said, "I don't deserve to have you as a friend after all I've done to you." "Mat you'll always be my friend no matter what you do to me i'll be here for you!" I replied. Mat looked at Ben, "You're so lucky you found someone as great as Larry." Mat said. Ben smiled at Mat, got up and came and hugged me. Ben looked at me, "I love you!" Ben mouthed. "I love you too." I mouthed back.
Mat smiles, “You’re both great. Thanks, guys*
Ben chuckled, "You're not big headed at all are you, Laz?" Ben joked. Mat looked at me and smiled, "Once again im really sorry for kissing you, Laz!" Mat said. "Forget about it!" I replied smiling back at Mat.
“Thank you for not being awkward or angry with me.” Mat says quietly. I shakes my head, “You’re a mate. And you’re confused. It’s understandable.”
"You know you could have just told me you liked Larry." Ben said. "I-I-I couldn't, i didn't want you to get all angry at me." Mat replied. "So you thought it would be better just to kiss him?" Ben asked. "I didn't mean to." Mat said, "Im so sorry!" Ben moved closer to Mat and hugged him, "Its okay I mean i can't blame you." Ben chuckled.
“I can’t blame him either.” I piped up, trying to lighten the mood, “I am a handsome devil.”
"Can we please work it out in the morning?" i groaned. "Fine." Ben said getting back in bed. I went and joined him. The next morning we got ready and left for work in silence. We reached the studio and Ben went over to Mat, Mat shielded his face. Ben moved Mats arms away from his face, "Relax im not going to hurt you I just wanna talk to you?" Ben asked
Mat nodded, “Okay.” he said quietly. Ben sat down next to him with a sigh.
"Do you love him, Larry?" Ben asked. "Yes but..." I said. Ben got up. "Let me finish!" I said, "I do love Mat, but only as a friend." "Promise?" Ben said. I got up and walked over to Ben, "I promise." I replied, "I love you and only you." Ben smiled at me. I smiled at him back.
“Good.” Ben replied, “But what are you going to do about Mat?”
"What happened Larry you seemed stressed?" Ben said stroking my hair. "Nothing." I said. "Seriously Larry, i can tell something wrong." Ben said moving closer to me. "Mat said he loved me and then he kissed me." I replied. Ben looked at me expressionless, "He did what?!" Ben said rather angrily.
“Calm down, Ben.” I groan, “He’s just confused that’s all.”
"Im sorry for kissing you." Mat shouted after me. "Just forget about it." I replied walking down the street. I got back to Ben's house, i went through the door, "Ben im home!" I shouted. I walked into the living room. Ben was sat on his phone. "Im going to bed darling!" i said. "I'll be in, in a minute!" Ben replied. I got changed and got into bed. Ben came and laid with me.
“So what was wrong with Mat?” Ben asked curiously. I shook my head in response, “Nothing really.”
